Once there was a grand land where individuals achieved great things. They fought for their freedom and formed a representative government, based upon a constitution. Their leaders were noble men and understood the lessons of the past. A system called “federalism” was designed that shared authority and restricted amassing too much power in any particular political office. A unique distribution of duties and responsibilities were defined and all remaining functions and ruling charges were retained by separate and independent states that made up this fine experiment for union. What an admirable attempt to protect the human dignity of citizens and to invent an environment for personal prosperity and that gracious concept - the pursuit of happiness . . .

As events proved that measure wanting, the evolution to outright cynicism became the most valid gauge. Today, developments in reporting surpass even that criterion. For now, the only sensible rule, is total disbelief in ALL reported news. We have entered an age of designer reality, based upon a message that best fits the emotional needs of the viewer and the desired objectives of the journalist. The role of the editor is to protect the agenda of the publisher, as the publisher serves the interests of his benefactors.

Now they willingly let this fellow place a crown on his own head while the mob cheers! What’s next, a swift crash of monarchical punishment coming straight down on your head?

Is the Whole World Wrong?

If you listen to the mainstream media their reports say that the White House respects the democratic rights of people around the world to demonstrate. Do you believe that to be the case? Has there ever been a more striking example where the United States has rammed a more contested policy down the throats of the rest of the world? Preemptive invasion just doesn’t seem to be playing to standing applause, if you ask the throngs that are marching around the globe. For most of the world, Iraq is not an imminent problem and disarming Saddam Hussein is not a primary objective. Thugs and villains abound, what makes him the inborn enemy that demands immediate, decisive and definitive removal?  What rational person can reasonably assert that Iraq is the indisputable focus of undeviating evil in the world? Has Iraq changed that much since they were the agent and cohort of the United States during their war against Iran?

With all the success that Bill O’Reilly has achieved, one would think the king of cable news must be reporting a message that the public frantically loves. Well, it seems style - once again - wins out over substance. The only talking points you need to remember is that a “No Spin Zone” doesn’t mean it has no filters. When Fox News broke the mold and zoomed in on the rage of a modern day Joe Pyne, the viewer got a nightly fix most needed. O’Reilly was not a new boy on the block. Ever since his hosting of  "Inside Edition", he had a popular following. But his “Factor” has a format that cuts through the clutter, with all the ease of melting butter parting ways, with his sharp tongue skirmishes with guests. Any junkie addicted to the program knows when Bill doesn’t host, the spectacle falters. A tight focus and investigated reports often strike a direct hit.

Recent news about the very different financial conditions of McDonalds and Starbucks, is only part of the story. McDonald's Expects to Post Its First-Ever Loss is like waking up to hear that no one watched the Superbowl. Starbucks brews record profits comes as more of a surprise, at first look; but actually reveals more about our current society than Ronald McDonald growing old. Ordering an Egg McMuffin and an overly hot coffee always seems to be a sensible and normal habit. And who could deny nature when it comes to those fries?  Most knew that those Big Mac’s would cause bloating, and should be avoided; but who could resist that creamy dessert when leaving after a rest room pit stop? This is America and McDonalds is red, white and blue!

Matt Hale an enemy combatant?

Whatever you think about Matt Hale, the recent arrest came as no surprise. His strange saga first brought national attention when his application to practice law was denied by the Illinois Supreme Court's Committee on Character and Fitness. Most of the public would consider him an avowed racist and his "World Church of the Creator" a bizarre sect. But this account is not about the merits or falsehoods of his politics or doctrine. He is charged with a crime, according to the New York Times - Law enforcement officials with Chicago's Joint Terrorism Task Force said Mr. Hale had crossed the line when he asked another person to "forcibly assault and murder" Judge Lefkow.

Labels have lost their meaning, while the significance of a disastrous ideology leads the people into bondage. We warned of a false Patriotism and called 2002 The Year of the Radical. By now there can be no doubt left, even for the most timid. The enemy of the Nation is the STATE and only a modern day Tory would champion the aberrant machinations of President Bush. George W has exceed King George III as tyrant.

The bore know as Gore, finally got the message and is out, or so he says. The mad race is on for finding the Bush spoiler. The crowd seems to be many, but the one who will emerge will have a facility that none of the rest possess. Want to know what that is and who has it? Or are you one of those that take enjoyment in the facade, thinking that it is a game that anyone can win? It never ceases to astound how people forget the significance of the Tower of Babel. Efforts to eradicate cultural division among races are always doomed to failure. The meaning of diverse, means differences. The fallacy that America is a melting pot has always been know by blacks. So why do so many folks of color go ballistic, when they are told what they already know? By now we would hope that broad agreement would accept that all people should be equal under the law. However, only the idiot would conclude that all cultures are similar in a desire to integrate and live as neighbors.

Commissar Daschle Shows His Colors

Senator Thomas Daschle is one of the most detestable politicians of the last decade. Many deserve this same description, but the newly relegated minority status is just too much to bear for an egomaniac of his ilk. Once and for all let the record state that this rabid partisan of the Socialist State is a falsifier of reality and a deceiver of the People. You need not be a believer in the integrated welfare society to want the betterment for our fellow citizens. But for anyone to conclude that the policies of centralized distribution is the best way to achieve sweeping quality of life, you would be in need of a brain transplant. Daschle is a toady for “collectivism” and a swindler of our heritage. When he whines that he is a victim - dejected and depressed because he didn’t get all his schemes passed, he insults the intelligence of every American. That is exactly how deceitful this prevaricator treats the public.
